Research Components
"The research components of the TeamNANO Project are divided into three independent research projects. Together with international experts from UoS and TU Delft, SUNUM specialists will play roles in both scientific and technical consulting, as well as serving as leaders (L) and/or partners (P) in the work packages (WPs).
The details of each research project:
1. Flexible and Wearable Electronic Sensors
Development of flexible, lightweight sensor arrays for sensor applications using advanced green printed electronics, flexible and wearable electronics (e-textiles and e-skin).
2. Sensors for Advanced Healthcare Services
Designing electronic, optical, and mechanical sensors (electronic noses) that detect chemicals and biomolecules, optimizing them for low power consumption, and making them applicable in portable, wearable health monitoring devices.
3. Nanoelectronic Devices for Next-Generation Computing and Memory
Development of low-power, 2D material-based optoelectronic devices and integrated nanoelectronic circuits with quantum dots (QDs), designing energy-efficient systems for neuromorphic applications and computing; also, the development of a neuromorphic AI framework for pattern recognition and relational learning, alongside low-power data storage devices."
